Lava Pixel V1- 2ND gen Android One Smartphone launched in India for Rs. 11350

Lava partnership with Google launched its first Android One smartphone dubbed as Pixel V1. After the great success of 1st Gen Android One smartphone in India, Google launched 2nd Gen Android One phone which packs with mid-range specs and features. There were many rumors relating to the name and specs of Google 2nd Gen Android One phone, but finally launched as Lava Pixel V1.

The Lava Pixel V1 comes with a 5.5-inch HD Full Lamination IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Asahi Dragontrail glass protection. It has 2GB DDR3 RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity and extendable secondary storage up to 32GB via microSD card.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. As it is an Android One Smartphone, it might be updated to Google next latest version i.e. Android M.

The Connectivity features of Lava Pixel V1 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and there is 2650mAh battery on the back. The rear shooter of Android One smartphone ports a 8MP with LED Flash, 1.4um BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and is accompanied with 5MP front camera.

The handset comes in White with Silver and Gold colors variant and will be exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs. 11,350 starting from today, July 27th.
