Apple has seeded iOS 8 GM (Golden Master) to registered developers of the iOS developer Program. Apple announced its new devices namely iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and these devices runs on IOS 8. So Golden Master is the same build number as the one that is pre-installed on the new iPhones.

 

Apple officially announced that it will be releasing iOS 8 to the public on September 17^th. The features that the update includes are interactive notifications, widgets, all-new Messages app, support for third-party keyboards and lots more.
