ARCHOS Diamond Tab Details: Android 5.1 Tablet with 3GB RAM, 2048×1536 resolution

ARCHOS, the popular French brand has unveiled “ARCHOS Diamond Tab”, it latest high-end tablet in the Diamond series. The vendor will showcase the tablet at the upcoming IFA 2015 event scheduled to start from September 4th. The tablet will be taking on Nokia N1 and Xiaomi Mi Pad which also comes with similar 2048 x 1536 pixels of screen resolution.

It features a 7.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) display with 4:3 aspect ratio and has Android 5.1 Lollipop software. The device comes with 32GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot for further memory extension. As far the measurement are concerns, it has a 202 x 134 x 7.8mm and weighs 360 grams.

It has a 4G LTE connectivity feature support various LTE bands: 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz and voice calling capabilities. To capture memorable pictures, the ARCHOS Diamond Tab is allocated with 5-megapuxels rear camera with auto focus and a 2-megapixels front facing camera for video calling and other Selfie purposes.

Under the hood, the tablet has a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8752 64-bit processor coupled with Mali T760-MP2 GPU and 3GB of RAM. To provide juice to the 7.9-inch Android Lollipop tablet, a 4800mAh battery has been allocated on the back.

The ARCHOS Diamond Tab has a price tag of £179 (US$ 275 or Rs. 18,250 approx.) and will go on sale starting from October 2015 on ARCHOS official website.
