Alcatel has announced the Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 Android tablet – check its Specs, Pricing and other Details.

Alcatel has announced a new android tablet and added a new device in the list of its flagships called Alcatel One Touch Pop 8. The tablet was launched at ongoing CES 2014 event along with Pop 7 and One Touch Pop C9. Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 is an Android tablet having better specifications than Pop 7.

Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 features a 8 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek MT8382 processor with Mali 400 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 4GB on board storage, which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.

Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 Sports a 2MP rear camera with HD video recording, and a 0.3 MP VGA front facing camera for video calling. Coming to connectivity the Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 tablet supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS. The device drags gets its juice from the huge 4100 mAh battery packed in it.

When both the devices are compared with each other, Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 differs with Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 in display, resolution, chipset and battery. While all the other specifications of both the devices match with each other even the Android versions on both the devices are same i.e., Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
